I really struggle to see where some of these reviews come from Terry took over a sale of a car from the helpful Gail via a price comparison car site.  I had an issue with the car and Terry has gone out of his way in his own time to pickup the car and drop it back to me a good 2 hours out of his way and in his own time. Genuinely decent guy without the usual salesman rubbish that you associate with a premium brand. Good salesman with a good backup plan. Many thanks

Poor customer service once you have purchased car. I had issues with a simple numberplate where they had printed the wrong plates (a poor start) and took two weeks to get back in contact even after calling multiple times, a lot of passing the responsibility. As I said poor and rude service.

Avoid them and save your money. I purchased a BMW 320i new from Arden in 2015. No issues to start with however each time I have taken to have it serviced they have caused problems.

Needed a refurb on an alloy, they tried to charge me twice what they quoted as they didn't realise it was diamond cut apparently. It then developed a yellow hue and the finish started to break up.

I was advised it was outside of the 3 months warranty despite never hearing of this. I managed to argue a new refurb and when completed they wrote on my receipt only valid for 3 months in pen. It developed a hue again and still to this day looks different to the rest. 

I was advised that because they had to cut it down again that should any further repairs be needed I would need a new alloy.. thanks.

I most recently had a brake fluid change, end of warranty inspection and its 1st MOT. I had to take a day away from work to ensure this was completed before my warranty expired as I had no reminder from the centre. Luckily through making an enquiry I was informed of this when I phoned them. 

I arrived for my appointment as arranged for 12pm to be questioned why I wasn't in at 8am? I was kept waiting for 3 hours. I then asked how much longer this would take to be told it had failed its MOT. I asked what on and I was handed a BMW headed piece of paper which stated it had a bulge on a tyre and a nail in another. I was also verbally told this is why it has failed. I was not handed an official MOT certificate. 

I was then informed they have no tyres in stock as they are not a tyre specialist. I was quoted almost £300 per tyre and told I needed to leave the car with them. I was surprised to hear they had none in stock. I was offered a loan vehicle despite being told earlier there was not one available.

I decided to leave and head to another business that had the tyres in stock. I appreciate they are not a tyre specialist however they were over £100 pounds more expensive per tyre. I had them replaced and was advised a vehicle cannot be failed for a nail in a tyre as this should be recorded as an advisory. I checked the BMW paperwork I was handed and it was recorded as Needs urgent attention - the same as the bulge in the tyre. Despite the fact one is a failure and the other an advisory.

I raised this with the service manager who stated my MOT certificate should have been left inside my vehicle.. I explained I was only handed the BMW headed paperwork. I advised it was misleading and i was not satisfied. I was told your not satisfied with the price your not satisfied with the mot what more can we do. I stated I'm past asking for good will gestures and they stated they will remove me from their systems. I was also advised my appointment was at 1pm and I was only kept waiting 2 hours. It was actually almost 4 by the time they established its MOT had failed and provided me the facts.  

It's difficult to get an appointment if you work, it's very unlikely you can get a loan vehicle unless you book 6 weeks in advance or so I was advised. It's expensive and they rarely have anything in stock. I would pay the price if they delivered the service expected from a prestige dealership. I sat there that day next to the parts counter that had people arriving to collect parts that hadn't arrived. A number of disatisfied people and no answers from Arden.

My review is based on my own experiences, I hope that if you decide to go with them that your experience is a lot better than mine. If not expect to be removed from their system!

I took my car in for repair and had hoped the level of service from a BMW specialist would warrant going there and not a garage recommended by my insurer. The repairs were carried out within a week and I was given a courtesy car but when I went to collect my car I noticed things had been moved from my back seat into the boot without my permission. On dropping my car off at BMW Arden I had asked twice before leaving if anyone would need to get anything from inside the car and was assured that as it was only the front that needed repairing nothing was needed. As well as this I found a plastic shoe cover on my passenger seat, might have been nice for whoever used it to dispose of it. I certainly won't be using BMW Arden again.
