Apsley Surgery is a family run doctors surgery based in Stoke-on-Trent. We benefit from two sites, the larger being within Cobridge Health Centre and our smaller branch surgery is located within Norton Clinic. We are a forward thinking general practice who seek to provide exceptional healthcare for our patients.

Fed up of getting spoken too like an idiot by whoever answered the phone this morning (11:14am 22/08/17) This woman needs some people's skills training. She was right and everyone else was completely wrong and when I tried to explain something she wouldn't listen and kept talking over me. This isn't the first time either. I dreaded ringing to speak with staff for years just incase she answers.. By the way, all the other staff are very polite, helpful and have a brilliant friendly attitude.

This surgery is let down by some, but not all of the terrible confrontational receptionists. They always have to be right and the patients wrong. All I wanted was to order a prescription early but it's all too difficult for her. I told her I was worried about not having my prescription on time. She couldn't understand this simple request, and when I explained, she still didn't instill any confidence that they will do this for me. It's blunder after blunder with them, but of course it's never their fault, they'd rather die than help you.

Absolutely useless. Prescribed a cheaper medicine for my 4 month old which noone stocks and when asked to change the prescription after visiting 3 pharmacies got told I need to come back as the doctors are too busy to change it there and then. After a few mins of arguing the receptionist disappeared for 5 mins and came back with the correct prescription. Why couldn't they just have done that to begin with, it's a 4 month old baby for christ sake!! Receptionists here are the worst I have ever experienced.

The receptionist for Apsley House Surgery is very rude. Cutting the phone off you whilst you're speaking, not being helpful when asked for other timings and giving very blunt replies. Overall poor patient satisfaction.

The receptionist was rude, cut me off while I was speaking and sounded like she didn't give a damn. The doctors and nurses are really lovely but the receptionists leave more to be desired.
