Modern pub/restaurant, offering a good selection of lagers and beers, with plenty of on site parking. Extensive menu to suit all tastes,also offering a carvery. Can get very busy at weekends so adviseable to book. Desserts are on the enormous side and the cakes portions are enough for a family of 4! We were told that due to being very busy any order from the menu would take 45 minutes but carvery was available immediately.. Carvery offers small, standard and large. An average adult would be happy with standard plate. Choice of Turkey, Gammon and Beef. Plenty of vegetables of all shapes and choice of gravy. Prices are reasonable but vary depending on day of the week, the weekends attracting slightly higher cost. All in all, very good but best avoid busy times at weekends.

Food was faultless as ever. Had the carvery and I definitely recommend the turkey and honey glazed gammon, so much flavour packed in the meat and tender. Real melt in the mouth food and the cake aways are amazing, too much for one sitting but you get to take the flavour home! Can see why it's so difficult to get a table

The food was good, reasonably priced and quick and it was really busy (Sat tea time), but the children's play area had a grimy feel. There were several children's vending machines out of order with no sign (which resulted in several melt downs). Not bad, but could improve.

Fantastic food and you don't wait in line for long. The carvery is amazing would definitely recommend. The cake away is a definite must.

This is actually the best carvery that I've been to. The staff are very efficient in seating people. There's a small area for the children to play, which made dinner much more enjoyable for us. As for the food, the meats are tasty and moist, selection of veg is huge: parsnips, peas, green beans, sprouts, cauliflower, carrots and even a salad bar. The desserts are incredible. Those cakes!
