Visited on a Sunday about 5pm. Very busy at the time and we were told it was an hour's wait from ordering to the food being served. They reserved a table for us so we could be outside with the children while waiting. But we only waited about 30 minutes before someone came to tell us our meal was ready. We all had burgers, which were really good. And for chocolate lovers, well the millionaires chocolate brownie was to die for. Highly recommend! Nice place in lovely setting. Just relax with a drink and watch the barges go by, or watch the fishermen try to land a catch.

A very poor experience not one plate or glass came as it should have. Sauces, dips ingredients missing from meals and no ice, beer ran out, no change etc No apologies so I guess that kind of thing is the norm. Shame it could be so much more.

Lovely outlook on to the canal - really nice on a Summer day. Good food and very reasonably priced. Always friendly service too and a nice little play park for the children.

Poor standards of cleanliness and service. Mediocre lukewarm food. Rip off 330ml bottles of bulmers at a supposed offer of 2 4 £6 what a.joke. The first amd only time we shall be visiting.

Just been here for my mums 83rd Birthday. Party of 8 adults and 3 children. Food was fine and setting is as lovely as always, we have been coming here for many years. The staff however were just rude! Not a smile between them!!😠 Yes they were busy..we waited a long time for our food but hey...no complaints there...like I said they were busy. A smile however goes a long way!...it doesn't take any extra time...you can do it whilst you work! The staff were always lovely here in the past...but this lot really need to brush up on their customer service skills!👎🏼
