I feel it would be good if the owners went to a top fish and chip shop to see how nice they can be. I don’t feel much love in these fish and chips. Dry cod. Batter bland. Chips like cardboard. Greasy. Message to the owners, look up the winners of fish and chip awards go visit. Because for now it’s tastes like chips I’d expect from the likes of a Greek kebab shop not a proper fish and chips shop
Having recently moved into the area, we recently tried Anchors fish and chips. I can honestly say that the quality of the food was great. Perfectly battered fish, chips were great and lots of extras were available. Very reasonably priced too. We shall be returning soon!
Anchor Fish and Chips put together a big order for us and did an excellent job. The quality was great, they were so helpful and provided such a fantastic service. Everyone commented how tasty the fish and chips were and will definitely be back!nThanks again
Best takeaway fish and chips around, I have to drive to get fish and chips and would rather drive here than to any fish and chip shop in Epping. On this occasion I was travelling back from an event in Romford and called up to order my food so didn't have to wait as the fish and chips are cooked to order for the most part. Once again we were not disappointed.
This place has the most AMAZING chips and anything that goes with those chips. I love Haddock and it is always cooked beautifully here - they also do everything else you expect from your chippy, including some very good burgers, and grilled/fried chicken. Whenever I am in the area this is one treat I can't help but let myself have! The staff are lovely too!!! 5
