Amersham Hospital is located in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. It is one of three hospitals in the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, the other two being Stoke Mandeville Hospital and Wycombe General Hospital.All facilities are 'non-emergency', and include the Haleacre Unit, Buckinghamshire's central dermatology ward, various other out-patient facilities and care for older citizens.The Haleacre unit is a secure mental health unit. It was once used as an in-patient (residential) hospital for secure detainment, that purpose is now defunct; and therefore the unit only plays host to day-care facilities as well as therapies, mental health assessments and consultations. Due to the original purpose, the Haleacre section of the building (physically part of the rest of Amersham Hospital) is guarded by high metal fencing and visibly safe fixtures and fittings inside.All in-patients in Buckinghamshire (involuntary and voluntary) are now taken to the nearby whiteleaf Center in Aylesbury.

Facilities very clean and lovely to have a coffee bar and book shop manned by volunteers."},{"text":"Just had a small procedure at the hospital on my foot. The staff were super friendly and did a great job. We are lucky to have the NHS !!"},{"text":"I’ve had several blood tests in the last few years post cancer and I've never had any pain at all, it’s very routine. However this morning although there was no pain when the needle went in, I got a really acute pain when the needle was taken out. The lady told me to bend my elbow but by the time I got back to my car the swelling in my arm was the size of a golf ball. I rang my sister who is a GP and she told me to put pressure on it for 10 minutes and the swelling went down, however I still have a very painful arm and the swelling is still significant. Disappointed as the blood test was to help me find out why my arms are aching and they certainly ache much more now. I had a very large dark bruise the full length of my arm for 3 weeks. I've never had issues previously with the hospital so for context this is just one out of many occasions, but it was so unnecessary and disappointing that I needed to bring attention to it, so it is hopefully avoided in the future."},{"text":"Went for my daughter's appointment only to wait an hour to be told the consultant wasn't there and they don't know where she is. Finally told she's not there. What a wasted trip especially when I received that passive aggressive text a few days earlier telling me that it costs the NHS £160 for missed appointments yet they don't know how much it cost me when they miss my appointment."},{"text":"Easy parking. Easy access to blood test clinic."}]to add Amersham Hospital map to your website;
