I waited to be seen by a doctor for my 4 years old I waited more than 3 hours. Not sure exactly what priority kids get. I am really saddened by the service. I absolutely appreciate what they do but for a 4 years old to wait for more than 3 and half hour to be seen not sure how it’s going to cope. I really recommend this service. The nurse saw us for a triage but we had to wait for a long time to be see by a doctor.
Went to the urgent care centre today. The woman on Reception is SO rude. If PALS is reading this she needs to go on a Customer Services course. My sister had been sent there via 111 and had booked an appointment for her but the rude receptionist said in an offhand manner that nothing was booked and she would have to wait approx 4 hrs. She gave her a form and told her to go and fill it out, still insisting that there was no appointment. My sister went back through to 111 and when they asked to speak to the Receptionist to confirm that an appointment WAS booked, the Receptionist made out she was busy and the made out that the appointment had just come through that moment which was not the case. She just hadn't looked properly. These hospitals go on about zero tolerance, well that should apply to your patients too. Why should patients have to put up with rudeness from staff. It was 16.39 today 21st Jan so you can find out who she is and send her on a training course. Ps this isn't the only review about your rude Receptionist
I visited the Phlebotomy department today. The staff are brilliant. Great service. The facilities have improved significantly and the process is slick. Well done Team NHS Wycombe!
An admin assistant cancelled my patient transport ambulance booking so I was then unable to get to my urgent lung capacity test appointment. This assistant didnt let me know. I found out just an hour before my appointment when I rang the patient transport as my ambulance was late. The booking was cancelled on 22 August but I didnt find out until 31st. I found out the name of the person responsible for this catastrophic mistake from the ambulance service and relayed the information to the respiratory team initially. Nothing was done so I went to PALS. After almost 3 weeks nothing has been resolved either - its an absolute disgrace. This is a classic case of cover up hoping I will give up trying to find the the person cancelling my booking. To date I have no resolution and they really dont care less.
Staff at the urgent treatment desk with red and black hair is extremely rude and has such attitude when talking to you. My sister was fainted and she didn’t seem at all bothered.
I have just had shoulder surgery as a day patient and cannot praise the staff enough. They were so caring and absolutely brilliant, so were the theatre staff. Thank you so much.
Its simply just rubbish! The whole building itself and calling its self a hospital is absolutely pointless. For all the incidents iv been here for both myself, friends and family we have always had to travel else where to the likes of Aylesbury which is 30mins away to then have to wait between 6h-15h to be seen. Hospitals in the UK are shocking now.
I would like to say a massive big THANK YOU, to Mr. Holford and the whole team, including Alice and Shelley for the wonderful care and attention I recieved when admitted for day surgery, also huge THANKS to ALL the day surgery unit staff, you deserve much praise for all your hard work and dedication, Benjamin put the bins out keep being your jovial self as for some patients laughter is the best medicine, and you put a smile on our faces.
Staff are great. A&E closes 15 mins early at 7.45. Car park for A&E on right as you go in. Can get confusing if you go left...
I had to go there yesterday and can honestly say the lady I saw was amazing! I wish I knew her name. I’ve had a severe reaction to insect bites and she was so helpful and gave the best advice thank you so much
