Had a blood test booked for my daughter at our surgery. However, when we arrived there we were told they were unable to do the blood test. I went straight to the hospital, where they do children's blood tests. I was just hoping that I could book an appointment asap. I was telling a nurse about what had occurred when another Nurse called Nicky took the piece of paper with the bloods requested and said she will do them then and there! I was beyond grateful for her thoughtfulness and kindness. Alongside a Nurse called Claudette, they effortlessly took my daughter's blood and we were done and dusted within 15 minutes of us arriving at the hospital. I don't think they realised what a huge thing it was for me. Thank you to these good kind people who helped us out today
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the incredible staff at the walk-in centre. The receptionists were welcoming and efficient, making the process smooth and stress-free. The nurses went above and beyond, showing care, professionalism, and kindness while attending to my son. Their reassuring approach made a difficult situation much easier. A huge thank you to the team for their amazing work!
I am very disappointed with the service my husband and I received after contacting 111. We both had the same symptoms and were given separate appointment times—6:30 PM for my husband and 8:15 PM for me. However, despite having a scheduled appointment, only a nurse briefly checked my husband, and then we were asked to wait again for an indefinite amount of time.nnI fail to understand the point of booking appointments through 111 if patients are still made to wait for hours. This experience felt disorganized and disrespectful to patients’ time and health concerns.nnThe NHS system in the UK has serious inefficiencies. Long waiting times are the norm, and when you finally see medical staff, their exhaustion and negativity are evident. This highlights a clear need for more doctors and better staffing levels to improve patient care. It is frustrating and unacceptable that these issues persist. Please take steps to address this situation and improve the overall patient experience.
My husband was blue lit into Wycombe's Cardiac unit with a suspected heart attack.nnThe care we received was prompt, professional and exemplary. From the ambulance arriving to him, through to admission to the emergency care centre was less than an hour. Fortunately his arteries are clear, he was then admitted to a ward for observations before being discharged 24hours later with a care plan for further investigation.nnWe are so grateful for the care we have received. Every professional we met was kind, caring and compassionate. We feel very blessed to have received such comprehensively great care.
I went in with a knee injury and was told I was fine and that I should go home and ice it. I insisted on an MRI and they said that they don’t do that. I’m confused as to how a hospital doesn’t do MRI scans. I went to another A&E centre to find out my knee was not fine and needed operating on. I can’t believe the negligence
