Had a chest x-ray booked recently and it was an incredibly smooth process. Parking for an hour is free and I managed to park at 9:45-10am easy enough. Receptionist was friendly and directed me to the waiting area. I was in x-ray 5 minutes earlier than my appointment time which was a nice surprise and the lady operating x-ray was friendly enough. All done and dusted in the space of 20 mins from parking to leaving. No complaints here
I telephoned the xray department today ..3.55 on 03.02.23. The manner of the person taking the call was unnecessarily curt and rude. She audibly sighed when l tried to explain why l was tardy in requesting an appointment...l had been suffering with influenza. Further on in the conversation she audibly yawned,. After this l kept my side of the dialogue short as she clearly could not be bothered with any atempt at politeness.
Broke my distal radius in an industrial accident last Tuesday in Walsall was taken to Walsall manor hospital and seen within 2 hours, told I need surgery on my arm immediately. Was given the choice go straight to theatre or transfer to local hospital Milton Keynes for surgery. I asked to be transferred, big mistake coming up for a week and still no operation
