Alexandra Park is one of those rare places that instantly lifts your spirits. Set high above North London, it offers some of the most breathtaking views in the city—on a clear day, you can see the skyline stretch for miles. That alone makes the visit worthwhile, but there’s so much more to enjoy.nnThe park is vast, with a real sense of space and freedom. Whether you're out for a long walk, a jog, or just a relaxing afternoon, there’s room to breathe and explore. Families gather for picnics, dog walkers meander along the paths, and there’s always a peaceful corner to be found if you're after a quiet moment.nnWhat really stood out to me was the range of activities happening all around. From kids’ playgrounds and skateparks to boating on the lake and open-air events, there’s a genuine sense that the park belongs to everyone. The blend of natural beauty with the iconic Alexandra Palace perched above gives the park a unique character—both lively and serene.nnIt’s a place where you can spend an hour or a whole day, and still find something new. Alexandra Park left me feeling refreshed, uplifted, and already planning my next visit.
What a magical experience visiting Alexandra Park at night! The views of the London skyline are absolutely breathtaking. With the city lights twinkling and the iconic landmarks lit up, it's a truly mesmerizing sight. The peaceful atmosphere at night is a perfect contrast to the city's hustle and bustle. The park itself is beautifully maintained, and even in the dark, you can appreciate the scale and beauty of the space. Whether you're a local or a tourist, I highly recommend coming here after sunset. It’s an unforgettable way to see London.
Absolutely love this venue! The building is stunning, full of history, and the views over London from the terrace are unbeatable—especially at sunset. I’ve been here for concerts and festivals, and the atmosphere is always electric. The main hall is spacious, and the sound quality has been great at the gigs I’ve attended.nnThere’s a good range of food and drink options, plus a pub and café for a pre-show bite. The park and boating lake are perfect for a stroll before or after events, and there’s even an ice rink for something different.nnGetting here can be a bit of a trek compared to central London venues, but the Overground and shuttle buses make it manageable. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the whole place feels welcoming.
Great park to visit and spend a whole relaxing day. Nice little café inside Allypally, a big pub which does sourdough pizza lots of history of the place. On Sunday mornings it has a farmers market, it’s also a big sports and entertainment venue. Almost forgot to tell you about the amazing ice rink. On busy days reservation is required.
Fantastic location and loved the concert. Toilets were clean and the ladies queue for the toilets moved fast! Plenty of them too! Very inclusive for all. Security was polite and respectful. The concert was outside. Excellent. Loved every second
