Great place to find rare ingredients for exotic recipes. The proprietor was extremely helpful. They also make delicious bakery products for passing hungry bears. Recommended.
Very good shop for middle eastern ingredients. Loads and loads of dry goods for the pantry, plus a great selection of fresh breads right at the front.
Fabulous selection of world foods, I get my jasmine rice from here, they sell lovely Greek coffee, all the spices you could want, the bread looks amazing I don't think they gave it at the weekend and interesting sweets. The guys that work there are super nice too.
Very expensive and worse is that they do not label tanteria products. It is an Arab strategy to be able to screw you when paying. It does not give you a cash bonus..,
Very nice selection of fruits and veggies - i love buying by the weight olives there. The staff is always super nice.
They have a hood selection of Turkish and Greek produce. Their prices are reasonable. I am inly English speaking and had to guess at a few products but that adds a bit if excitement to the shop. The baklava and the olive and haloumi bread was great.
Large selection of produce, helpful pleasant staff. Baklava to die for. Well worth a visit.
I have visited Akdeniz on a number of occasions. It boasts a very impressive range of olive oils, breads, pulses, tinned and jarred food, amongst other things. And all kinds of tea for fellow tea lovers. I think the pricing is fair and reasonable considering many items will have to be imported and this is not a big chain supermarket. I wholeheartedly disagree with the suggestions of over pricing, and I think suggestions they charge different people different rates are unreasonable. And the quality of product is always excellent. Nice guys running the place too :
Great selection of continental foods. The staff was super helpful when i was trying to buy some Tahini, really informative and knew there stuff. Excellent shop and good value.
Wide variety of middle eastern food stuffs. Halal meat also available
