This Asda is terrible. Repeatedly runs out of fresh produce mince, vegetables, herbs... before 5pm. I've had to stop going in after work because I end up having to go elsewhere anyway. They must lose so much money not having products available
This used to be such a great store with really nice staff. I’ve been doing my shopping here for the past 13 years and sadly, the quality of customer service as well as some products is really poor now doesn’t anyone really check the best before date there anymore?!?. The bags have also started being kept under the lock recently - every time I ask for one I am being treated like a thief, today a staff members decided to grab a receipt off me to check if for sure I have paid the 30p! There are often mountains of boxes left in the ails with some staff being absolutely rude if you’re apologetically trying to slalom around them and do your actual shopping. God forbid just grab something off the shelf they are currently stocking. Getting help is also nearly impossible - either there is no one around or a bunched staff chatting in the middle of the self checkouts or over their headsets without paying attention, even when attending to your till.nThere are of course some lovely staff there that treat you with kindness, I wish some of the workers I’ve been seeing over the years remembered that a smile goes a long way.

They were extremely rude and made baseless accusations of theft, the security staff like they were answering very rude and they were like boss of Asda. I think seemingly targeting people based on their race. I saw some reviews.This kind of behavior is intolerable and makes for a very unwelcoming atmosphere. Store manager please look into this issue. They are not even listening our words they are miss judging the people.
Had to go to the bathroom really badly, didn’t know where the entrance was as came from the tram side so opened the exit gate which I know isn’t the right thing to do but got abused by the fat ginger security guard for needing the bathroom and then leaving. Understand it was the exit but he could have just got someone to follow me to the bathroom and then leave as I was having kidney pain from needing to go. My actions were wrong but have not seen as unprofessional a security guard then him anywhere in the world before. Don’t go to ASDA if you need a quick toilet break because apparently that’s against the security guard code of conduct. Maybe he should take his security guard bouncer exam again and not act like a prick to regular customers
No longer accept mobile payment which is really annoying as I rarely remember my physical card. One person on self scan told me it was because I was using Amex another that no phones at all are working... feels odd to go backwards. I've switched to ordering online from Sainsbury's and the quality is better and the price pretty similar.
