This place is amazing and had everything we wanted for a weekend walk and family photo shoot.  There is a stream, fallen logs and different paths for the kids to explore and the area is very dog friendly. The car park costs £2 for the day and whist its not very big just up the road is an over flow car park. There is a cafe and a great pub just across the road, but we drove further up the A494 to a delightful and dog friendly Marston's pub called The Druid Inn.  The welcome and the food was fantastic.

Level scenic walks, but steep hill climbs if you want , with a river to walk along. Ice cream and cafe to come back to. Parking is limited on weekends, it’s pay and display. Nice pub opposite the entrance serves food and Booz

lovely dog friendly walks.  The cafe however is rather expensive.  Gift shop is reasonably priced with good quality stock

Lovely walks with beautiful views of the Clwydian hills. Great place to take dogs, have a picnic.
