Good value, friendly, accommodating. The web site is informative and the staff make it all very easy. There’s a good range of vehicles on offer and you don’t feel they’re trying to catch you out the way that some other rental companies might.

Abacus are the best car hire & van rental company in Dorset & probably England, good selection of cars & vans, always excellent customer service, any issues are always amicably resolved by Lisa the manager who is always helpful, shout out to Chris also. Have used them on & off over the years, recommended.

2 vehicles in 2 weeks, both times the office staff were excellent, perfect balance between friendly and professional. Vehicles ready to go and just as ordered, and the facility to return vehicle out of hours is brilliant. Will be back as soon as I need another hire vehicle. There is a reason they have been in business so long and come highly recommended by my work mates, they are great at what they do!

This is a company that is customer focused and not just profit. I recently hired a vehicle from the Ferndown branch but somehow managed to get the hire date incorrect by one day. Thankfully the very helpful lady managed to find a van for the next day at one hours notice for me. So definitely 5 stars from me and a very big thank you to Abacus.

Great place to hire a van.  This one is newer vehicles better for longer distances.  Not old bangers for a local pick up  Even though they were short staffed today,  I got my booked vehicle on the road within 10 minutes of arriving.  About the 6th time I've hired from here.  sometimes direct or sometimes via a contract driving job but good ever time.

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, both on the phone and in person. Cheery and polite even at 0800 on a Sunday morning. The website gave dimensions of the loadspace, AND the truck, which was helpful in planning access. Tail lift functioned perfectly, and the blankets we hired were just right. Options on pick and drop times really useful. Thanks Abacus, we don't want to ever move house again, but if we do we'll use you again.
