Allocated car was dirty and had many small dents, scratches and a cracked front number plate. Tried to reject the car but was told they had nothing else. Then 20 mins into my journey I discovered the windscreen wash was broken. Had to continue my journey with stops to wash the windscreen. Very disappointing. My complaint to the branch so far ignored. Avoid.
Vans have always been ready and waiting for me whenever I arrive at the branch. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable, which helped me get on and make use of my rental time.n100% satisfied and they would be my first choice again next time.
Reservation via booking for a 7-person car. On site and after paying all formalities, it turns out that there is a 5-person car of a different brand... they do not have 7-person cars at all. Wasted time and wasted money. Credit card blocked for 3 days. The service person was nice but with a smile he ruined my plan for a few days.nnI do not recommend.
Terrible company!!! Used a van to move house. Pick up of the van was fine in the Bournemouth depot. Left only one member of staff but wasn't waiting too long. Van was fine but obviously had plenty of use in the cargo area scratches and stains etc took out the extra cover as I just didn't trust this company and I'm so glad I did! Dropped the van off in the exact same condition I got and even gave them a free half tank of fuel. Ashington depot checked the van and pointed out that there should be wooden covers that sit over the wheel archs in the cargo area are missing. These were not in the van when I picked it up and looked as if they hadn't been there for a while. Due to the wear and tear in the cargo area I didn't take a photo of the area as how would you identify the damage from a well used van? Manager at Ashington said she was raising a claim and when I brought this up with the Bournemouth depot they assured me that it was baseless and not to worry and returned my deposit. This was the end of the matter, so I thought. Fast forward 6 weeks and a random charge from enterprise appears on my credit card for £250. No email or correspondence saying they would be taking the money, just snuck it out of my account. Called the depot and they were full of apologies and agreed there shouldn't be a charge but didn't do anything. Gave me an email to chase what happened. This turned out to be an incorrect email and was bumped to another department. So 3 weeks later they have stopped responding and the money is still taken and no email to say they'd be charging the full excess for 6x pieces of wood and some glue that was not in the van in the first place. If I hadn't taken the extra cover that would have been £2500 for these pieces of wood. This is what is wrong with the rental industry, companies that charge you for slightest damage that they cannot even prove was me. Look elsewhere or cancel your card as soon as you have done business with these crooks is my advice.
Not trusting my own car to drive a long distance, we hired a car to drive to North Devon for our Christmas holiday and were so impressed that we wanted to leave a 5 star review of the experience. The online booking & check in were very easy and straight forward to do. The collection of the car was also very swift, having already checked in and loaded up our document details online . We had a brand new Renault Captur which was clean and presentable. It drove faultlessly and was very economical. We paid to reduce the excess which we thought well worth the money and the scratch & wheel policy we felt was very fair. All in all we had a great experience and will be using this company again.
