Story

A35 Pit Stop (formerly Kilmington Chef) new road side cafe on the A35 just outside the market town of Axminster and on the Devon, Dorset and Somerset boarder, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The venue is an ideal meeting place for food anytime of the day and great place to get your head down for the night.
Rooms available for your overnight prices start from £45 for a twin room and a family room from £60.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and we will definitely stay again. The room and breakfast was excellent and the hospitality of the staff is excellent. Definitely recommend staying here. Thank you again for making us most welcome Jade and your team

The staff were amazing, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. They were especially goos with the children making sure they were happy and entertained. The burgers are also really tasty and as good as you would get in a proper gourmet burger restaurant.

Anytime of day, even the god early hour of the morning we visited, a lovely group of people, especially our waitress Jade 😁😁 highly recommended, thank you.

Food was cold and inedible. Not sure what was in the beef lasagne but it was vile. Had to send back our meals and refused a replacement. Strong smell of cigarette smoke from one member of staff. Toilets dirty with an unpleasant aroma. Concerns regarding food safety and hygiene. Disabled parking bays too small. Will not visit again!

Perfect for a coffee food or breakfast. Even had,a shower. Great for long distance driving.
