Story

Each of our seven recently converted 18th Century stone barns, provides luxury accommodation and sports the ultimate in green credentials.

The five barns range from a 1 bedroom bolthole through to a lavish 6 bedroom residence, each one individually designed and furnished to ensure every comfort and convenience; available for rent as self -catering holidays, themed weekends, pampering breaks or for private corporate accommodation and activities all year round.

We organised a large family holiday for 14 people for a weeks stay. We stayed in the milking parlor which had ample space. The accommodation came with everything we needed and had a lot of home comforts included. Beautiful surroundings and scenery. Hit tubs were a hit. Would highly recommend this place. Had a great time. Thanks.

We have stayed at the Cranberries a couple of times and are looking forward to staying there again in two weeks time . great location and lovely relaxing atmosphere . The rooms are superb and the food at the hideaway was delicious as well the The Old Inn just about a mile away in the village . Cant wait until the 1st December ...Paul and Emily Clarke

Beautiful cottage however extremely let down by the service. No staff around at all to help with questions. We stayed for a hen do (13 of us) and arranged afternoon tea with them. It was basically stale sandwiches and one pot of tea with no one checking we needed re-fills or anything for 2 hours (this cost us over £200)! When wanting to speak to the Manager about this we were told that he was not around and that they couldn’t deal with problems until he was back in the morning. The morning came and he was still MIA, wouldn’t answer any of our phone calls and didn’t get back to our messages. Not only did he ignore and let down 13 guests but also would have put us in danger should we need anything safety wise. I would highly suggest that you find nice accommodation elsewhere as the service will ruin your stay. What’s the point in staying somewhere nice if you feel ignored, uncared for and simply dissapointed?

Went to the spa and the hot tub was so dirty on inside and sauna was very untidy. The treatments were great but dont go in hot tub soooo dirty. It was spraying out brown stuff..yuk!

Attended a wedding at Cranberries recently. The staff were very professional and the event was most enjoyable. Excellent location with stunning views over the Devon countryside.
