Story

We are a well-established Chinese restaurant and takeaway in Axminster, East Devon, having been in business for over 20 years.

We don't take shortcuts. Our Cantonese and Malaysian-style dishes are prepared to the highest quality using fresh ingredients by chefs who have mastered the centuries-old Chinese tradition of wok cooking. The proof is in the taste and in our awards showing that we are one of the best around!

Decided to have takeaway for a birthday meal as away on holiday, prices are dearer than what was used to, but the quality and taste was well worth the extra and i certainly didn't mind, enjoyed it so much we decided to do it again a few nights later, on are last night, totally recommend to any one, the only thing I will say is, it says cash on the online order system which is great and it gives you a time slot, but option to pay by card was also offered when collecting
We had a pleasant enough family meal, the waitress and staff were friendly and helpful. One of our group chose duck with plum sauce, which came with pineapple, which was the predominant flavour, apart from that, it's a good quality local Chinese restaurant offering both eat in and take away.

Went in there last night just for some chicken balls with sweet sour sauce staff were nice but food was terrible the chicken balls were dripping with Grease and the sauce taste and smelled like a bottle of vinegar first and last time I’ll visit
Food lovely but disappointing customer service .. called in day to check opening hours .. called 40 mins before closing time to be told already shut. So left trying to make food at 10pm unexpectedly. No apology.
Chow mein tasted burnt and far to much soy sauce, Very disappointed. Waste of money.

We had a lovely valentines evening, the food was delicious and staff are very helpful.
Very poor. On getting order home two dishes were incorrect even though checked by person at desk. Would normally go back and change but staying 9 miles away with a family we just had to make do. So paid for chicken got chips. Paid for egg fried rice, got plain rice burnt Noodles were horrible, oily and burnt. If you are holidaying in the area avoid as I think they rely on you not complaining. Don't believe the reviews or the overpriced menu. Really wished we hadn't bothered
