Took my son for a birthday lunch. As usual excellent service and food. My niggle is that Monday in January the three course special has jumped to £22.50 from what was recently perhaps £19. The wines are briskly priced house £5.10 and £8.50 for better white both only 175ml. So for four specials and four wines only we paid £128. No longer a casual optional spend I regret.

Good menu. High quality overall. The service could be improved - staff should know the menu and be able to talk about the wine list. Starters were overly expensive.

So..... They were fully booked and the exceptional experience started when they rang us about twenty times to try and accommodate us and squeeze a table of 6 in on a Saturday night. If the company matched the delightful food then this would have been the best night ever. Anyway, book up front, you won't regret it. Do not miss the souffle.

This was a wonderful evening of fine food. The atmosphere and ambiance of the place was great. The menu was varied with something to tempt all palates. The food was beautifully presented and of an exceptional standard with flavours to make your mouth cry for more. The wine list was extensive and I shall definately visit again.
