This was our first visit. We didn't know what time they were serving, and arrived half an hour early. Steve was very welcoming and offered us a table, to shelter from the cold. My wife loves seafood, hence the visit, but I'm not a seafood fan, but tried it anyway. The food was lovely, and the service was great. We will definitely return on our next visit to Newcastle.

We used an Itison meal deal mains and desserts for two and was not disappointed, the waiter was very good and made us feel welcome, the atmosphere was relaxed. We started with anchovies, bread with balsamic vinegar and oil.. It was gorgeous! I could have just had another two courses of them alone! We both got mussels in a classic sauce with homemade chips. The mussels were very nice and the portions just enough and very good value. The desserts again were very nice, my girlfriend's creme brulée was gorgeous (her words) and my caramel chocolate tort was good. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and the meal deal was a great introduction to the place, I fully recommend.
