I went to One Stop garage to get my MX5 through an MOT. I had been going there for more than 20 years and New Arfan and a bunch of the other guys very well. This was the beginning of Jan 2024. I booked it in as usual but was told to come back to the garage. It had failed the MOT and Arfan told me to pay for the failure and he would get the parts. I trusted him so he gave me the keys and i drove home. Over the next 2 weeks i called several times and went back to the garage twice also enquiring about the parts. I kept being told, we are looking for the parts, he's on the phone to them right now etc. But the truth is, Arfan did not get the parts and do the work so the MOT period had ran out. I had to go to another garage who had no problems getting the parts at all. So i had to pay for another MOT and all the parts and labour which was not cheap or convenient. So if you go to One Stop for an MOT, don't pay anything until they have fixed the car and can show you the pass certificate. If he can do it to me, who has been going there for 20 years and i got both my cars MOTed and serviced there, he can do it to anyone. p.s. I recently found out it is now illegal to drive a car away that has a failed certificate but Arfan just handed me the keys and i could have been fined a £1000. Great, friendly guys here. Popped my head in as I was stranded an hour from home with kids in the car and a flat battery. I was just trying to find some jump leads to buy but without any hesitation they walked to my car and jumped it for me straight away. Wouldn't take any money and were absolute life savers. Thank you so much.

Highly recommend this garage, as they are incredibly friendly and helpful. I took my car down there to get some MOT advisory work done, thinking I needed a new tyre, only for them to advise I only needed a new valve, which saved me a lot of money, as I know many places that would have just gone ahead with replacing the tyre.
Worst experience and a con company. They charged 730 pounds for something silly. With in two days facing DPF problem, I took the car and told them the problem, they simply pluged their diagnostic tool gave a print and charged 30 pounds and said they won't fix DPF problems. I have my own diagnostic tool and I know the problem and I told them I know the diagnostic code, still they just want to loot my money. The one who work there called Octavia, he deserves no respect. If anyone wants to know the proof I can share the bills which makes no sense. All positive reviews appear fake as I have visited twice now in less than a week and the experience was horrible.
They are Top of the Top!These guys repair my car in a emergency situation in two hours for a walk in client! No booking needed AMAZING job and really good price! Highly recommended!!!
