Zizzi is one of my favourites, very welcoming staff and attentive. Food here has always been great and service is second to none. One thing i will say is dont get seated behind the column with mirrors on as you can't be seen and are likely to be forgotten about.

Yet another disappointing experience at Zizzi in Surbiton. I’ve given it so many chances but this was the last one. After a misunderstanding with the whole seating process, the waiter, Alberto, became very snappy and said we could sit anywhere we wanted. We chose a table and after having told him 3 times that we needed a table for 3 (a friend was going to join us shortly) he came and took everything off the table but 2 sets of cutlery and 2 glasses. I told him for the fourth time that we were going to be 3 and he snapped at me saying that this is what happens when he’s being rushed and that he needs more time, then stormed off. My friend and I got up and left, of course, as I wasn’t going to accept the rudeness and being served by a snappy waiter for the whole evening. I’m not sure under what kind of pressure Zizzi employees are, or maybe because it was just the 2 of us asking for a table for 3 confused the poor guy, but either way he shouldn’t take it out on the customers. This comes after precisely one week before we went there and had to wait about 45 minutes for our food. What was meant to be a quick dinner turned into a 2.5h experience. On a previous visit I was let down by the food, when my pizza came out pretty much naked, with just the base, some tomato sauce, 3 bits of cheese scattered around and some rocket leaves. And the list of disappointments goes on, though I would have to say the common denominator is the very poor (and extremely slow) service. If I could give this place less than a star I would.

Food was very nice but nearly every drink that we asked for off the menu they came back and said; "waiting for a delivery" we have run out... Not expected on a Saturday lunch time...! Manager did not know how to put restaurant vouchers through his till and treated us like we had stolen them...! I paid the £50 balance in cash...! Contacted the voucher company via Sainsburys only to be told Zizzi are renowned for this sort of behaviour...! Our vouchers had been given to us as a gift which we have now redeemed else where... won't return as there are far better places where you are given better customer service and that makes all the difference...

Very dissatisfied with the service, didn't have half the menu available including the drinks menu 😭😭😭 don't even get me started when it came to paying the bill..... let's just say It has put me off going back.

Not even lying when I say we waited for 2 hours for food. Staff seemed stressed and unfriendly. The men's only had 1 working toilet leaving ques outside at times with no urinals. All together a very bad experience. The food was nice but not worth the experience and price at all
