Amazing pub! I’ve never been before and from the experience I will be going again.nnFrom the moment we walked in the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and had great mannerism's which is always a great start!nnThe food was amazing! We ordered the bruschetta and steak bites for the starter which only started off our eagerness to get our mains as it was so delicious! For our mains we ordered the haddock and chips as well as the burger which was to die for! We even had the chef himself provide us with our meals and ask how it was, which was a nice touch. I would also highly recommend the apple and blackberry crumble for dessert!
I asked to have my mums hen do activity ‘Paint the Groom’ at the Victoria. Not only did they say yes to this booking, they also exceeded my expectations. They allowed us to have a large table area in the restaurant area, they allowed my friend to arrive 3 hours prior to the booking for the area to be decorated. Their service was superb. I could not thank them enough. Thank you so much!!
Good food and service in a nice place. Also music selection is nice. We had a sharer and some hummus.nA little pricy but no compromise on quality.
Amazing Sunday lunch for 20 people that we arranged at relatively short notice. Food was outstanding - not easy cooking roasts for that many people but every single person said the food was great. The pork belly and roast beef were perfectly cooked and portions were spot on nnMassive shout-out to Emma and her amazing team who were so helpful and polite even though we were probably a bit of handful and had to make a few last minute adjustments, which they handled no problem.nnThanks again to all the team, we'll be definitely be back!
We had a party at the Victoria on Sunday for my daughter and had a great time. The space was perfect and the staff were amazing. We were also allowed to decorate the area. Would highly recommend!
