One of a kind! Pay not for what you consume but how long you spend there. Totally eclectic collection of things and people. Brilliant fun.
Everyone's living room. Come here for the space which has a unique vibe of openness. Help yourself to the modest selection of teas and coffee and snacks on the kitchen. Everyone is welcome and everyone welcomes!
A nice cosy place where you can go and only pay for the amount of time you stay which the price is reasonable. The staff are also very polite and friendly, will definitely recommend this place.
A truly wonderful place to relax, work or just sit there and think. Internet is fast, tables and chairs are very comfortable. The staff are great and the whole place has a nice feeling to it. Biscuits and board games are there too! I've worked there a couple of times and hired the whole place out for a private speaker session.
I love going to this place. It is a really chilled environment, just feels like your own living room. There are plenty of things to do here like playing board-games, drawing/doodling, reading books or working on your laptop. You also have snacks available which is included in the entry fee.
One of my favorite places to work and socialize here. The concept is great- just pay for your time instead of worrying about whether you’ve bought enough coffees. It’s a big, comfortable communal living room with friendly staff and a nice view over Shoreditch.
Review as ex-host. Small and comfortable place for everyone. Charged per minute basis. Update: This place started to lowering prices to attract more people. However Prices are even cheaper now and you get 5 pounds per day fee. Plus you can donate. Variety of teas and coffee is included. Random events take place as well. Best things this place offers are board games evenings. Randomly great musicians coming over! FAQ: Which toilet I have to use? There are signs for right and left hand, instead of traditional men and women signs. History behind these signs: There used to be traditional signs: women and men. Later on, company decided that this is not "gender neutral", and changed to "Alpha" and "Omega". However, later on, the coffee shop decided that these signs are still providing clue to gender identification, therefore it was changed to "Left" and "Right" hand signs.
A nice hangout spot with treats, hot drinks, board games, piano, guitar, sofas, tables, suitable for spending time with friends and family or just enjoying alone time. The staff is friendly, and get out of your way and let you get on with your business. One suggestion if the staff is reading this, if the music volume could be lower, even better, if there are multiple speakers at different parts of the room so people could adjust the music and volume for their liking locally, it would be ideal.
One of the best place I have visited in London. The tree for grownups is full of board games, good food snacks, coffee machine, tea, biscuits, homemade jams..., good mood and good people. It's an amazing place where to chill on a free afternoon and meeting people from everywhere. Even if you look for a welcoming environment where to work the place is truly a gem. I highly recommend!!
Interesting concept of an open, communal space, though I wouldn't compare it to a cafe as the food/drink all come from a hostel-like kitchen. The setup is much like visiting someone else's home or the common area of a hostel, where people engage in board games, chats, or anything that they please. It's a nice alternative to spend time with friends without food/drinks/coffee being the main focus.
