Here for a corporate event private rooms and it's an impressive location. The views are a major selling point. The views are some of the best and it's gorgeous for a sunset. The windows could have done with a clean mind! Food wise and event wise it's very professional and really well managed. Staff were excellent and the food was very tasty given the large services involved. Wine was good without being notable. If you're looking to impress clients this is an excellent choice.
The most amazing experience and best service I have received in London. Staff were very attentive, willing to tailor the service the way you feel comfortable with. Very quick service, friendly and down to earth team.Food was gorgeous! Manager came over to the our table to make conversation with us which is rare nowadays in a restaurant. He was happy to receive feedback and willing to go extra miles. A waiter called Viktor was so lovely and made me and my son feeling very comfortable during visit. When we left he personally came over to say goodbye and mentioned that we were welcome to go up to the bar to take some pics if we would like to which we did. For me the best experience and service I have received from the min you enter/leave the restaurant. And the view ‘wow’ absolutely stunning! We will be back no questions about it. Thank you Searcys! You are a great team !
Amazing afternoon tea experience. My 12yro and I enjoyed the £55 per person with sparkling and non-alcoholic sparkling wine option. We got a table by the window and it was a beautiful view. Service was lovely and attentive. We were asked if we wanted more sandwiches, tea or wine often. Overall it was a good value as prices can vary across London but for us it was the right choice.
Amazing place and so worth the visit! Absolutely loved the views and the drinks. The food was great for sharing. They did not have the biggest platters, but it was perfect for appetizers. Make sure to get reservations in advance! Usually, you can get seats for the bar, but not for dinning. The kitchen closes at 9:30 but you can stay in the bar until about 11 and order drinks. Very nice. We were able to be there for sunset. Well worth it! Vegetarian options: They have plenty of appetizers that are vegetarian. Wheelchair accessibility: They do have wheelchair accessibility. Dietary restrictions: Not as many gluten-free or dairy free options available.
Extraordinary restaurant for the view inside the Gherkin! Reservations required to get a table. As an added bonus you can go upstairs to the bar for a 360 degrees view of the city! But food quality wise was quite disappointing as it was just average… the Sirloin steak we ordered was dry, poor quality cut of meat and between medium and medium rare there wasn’t much difference. The triple cooked chips was nice and the desserts were ok. Great customer service though! This place is very busy so they expect to take the table back after an hour and half. Overall would still recommend for the views but probably just book for the bar would be better for views.
My suggestion is to just take a drink in the bar on the top floor. The overall experience was ok. I really enjoyed dining at The Shard more. Table felt cheap here, food was alright.. and that for the price just feels mweh. Also the view just doesn't quite hit the ballpark, perhaps if the weather is better? Employees were very friendly. Food wasn't bad, but me and my company found the food to be about 7/10. Which I find disappointing for the expectations. I'm happy I tried, but sadly won't come back.
Arrived at the domed glass bar to view the night sky and sip champagne, while waiting for the table to be ready. The downstairs restaurant placed us near the window for an impressive view through the sky scrapers. Staff were attentive and professional throughout and the plates were elegant, great to look and and pleasantly prepared. Good night out. Kid-friendliness: Staff were happy to receive my 13 year old son Dietary restrictions: Arrived early to spend time in the glass domed top floor bar, to sip champagne and wait for our table to be ready. At dinner we were placed next to the window for a night view through other sky scrapers. Staff were friendly and professional throughout. Helpful with our dietary requirements and the chef adaptable with the menu to help assist. The plates looked good and was tasty so an excellent photo opportunity for your socials. Great night out.
We went here for our Christmas work meal. It's a great location and you get an excellent view of London. The food and drinks were good as was the service which was very friendly and helpful. After dinner we went to the top floor bar to see a better view of the city. Worth a visit, I can't comment on price as I didn't pay. Vegetarian options: They had a couple of vegetarian options, I had the risotto which was ok, but had a bit too much garlic and truffle for my taste. There were also vegan options.
Awesome experience facilitated via a Buyagift discount! Totally worth it for what I paid - we got 3 courses, a side, and a cocktail each. The food was all delicious and nicely presented, the view was awesome, and the service was great. You need an ID to get into the building and through security. It can be a credit card as long as it has your name.
Went there for an anniversary dinner. Even though it was pretty quiet evening and the restaurant almost half empty, it felt the service was quite rushed and too fast, and there was a lack of warmth and intimacy in the service delivery. When we arrived, the staff empathised a lot about set menu which is fine but a little distracting. Food that should have been served hot were not piping hot, and it was almost cold for some dishes which are disappointing at the price we are paying. It is worth to visit for the view but probably not for the dinner or drinks.
