A wonderful place for the sailing fraternity and their friends/family. If you want to learn to sail this is a great place. My husband joined as a member and now we have access to an amazing club with riverside views and veranda. Great bar and lovely restaurant plus meeting rooms for tslks and lectures. We had a talk about the regeneration of London Docklands followed by a meal and drinks. Strongly recommend joining.
Nice club, bar and great food. The location is right on river thames. Good for conference and meetings.
Lovely private members club right on the Thames. Very relaxed atmosphere. Bar area very spacious. First class restaurant and bar meals available. Staff friendly and welcoming. Small number of Cabins for overnight stays. Highly recommended
Attended a wine society tasting here, excellent venue!
Corporate travel industry event by an association of tourism offices. Lovely private club atmosphere, set behind Cannon Street station, with rear terrace area overlooking Thames- with astonishing views across the river especially at night with the Shard and Southwark bridge lit. Hospitality company were high quality, meal and wines most enjoyable. Comfortable seating and well spaced. Clean and modern toilet facilities. All helped make for an enjoyable educational evening.
Very pleasant atmosphere and a great meeting room.
Just an amazing beautiful club on the bank of River Thames right best door to Southwark Bridge. Fabulous ambience, comfortable seats in chesterfield type upholstery. The library had a terrific collection of books, something for everyone I believe. The dining room especially in the evening serves tasty fresh cooked food in a very welcoming environment. The views across the river are worth sitting down with a drink and watching all the different types of vessels passing by. I was at one of their Tuesday evening new members and members. The menu was beef bourguignon with flavoured rice with a very delicious sauce, followed by an equally tasty freshly prepared custard and apply crumble, just like granny used to make. A great cross section of people that evening all with an interest in little ships. I believe this Little Ships Club Is an almost hidden jewel with exceptional comfort. The appropriately named cabins instead of rooms each, with a porthole as once again befits a yacht club, with a cost to stay making it certainly more affordable than some of the local hotels and with charm. Went back for my first lunch experience. Just had lunch at the Little Ships Club. The service was exquisite. The setting is really desirable. The tables are spaced out so that a business meeting is very comfortable. In fact there was a group for a corporate lunch and still we were able to enjoy the excellent food freshly prepared by the chef. I had a smoked duck with peach salad and the really tasty Fishcakes for my main course followed by an upside down peach cake with freshly made custard sauce. All in all a great setting to enjoy a lunch in a comfortable setting I'm the only yacht club within the city of London right next door to Southwark Bridge. Yes I would go back again Fred Finn The Worlds Most Travelled Person Guinness World Records 718 flights in Concorde. And 15 million miles
A great private sailing club in the heart of the city of London. Offers a great place to escape the city in the city. With an amazing social sailing philosophy. A wonderful club to join and share sailing adventures with.
Fantastic club in the heart of the city. Means I can fully immerse myself in sailing; on water, qualifications and socialising. Over the winter the fast cruise meant sailing every month. The qualifications are all RYA certified, with great instruction and location provided. The club offers great restaurant and bar facilities every-night, and a season of great talks on a range of topics, my favourite was on the weather
The Little Ships Club is home to one of a kind sailing, social, & RYA training opportunities for sailors in the heart of central London. Located on the banks of the Thames River- it is a well suited space for meetings, lunches/dinners, private events, & social gatherings. As a member of the club, it provides a wealth of opportunities to engage in social sailing events of all kinds- both on and off the water. The club appeals to a wide range of sailors & is an excellent way to get involved in the sailing community.
