It's a very nice place. Great to take young and old people for an enjoyable day out. Nice food and beverages. Plenty to see and do. Could be considered educational but is far from boring. Great venue for private parties. I just noted that there is a disabled lift but to the best of my knowledge there is only the one ground floor. I highly recommend Ponderosa (-:

I've just had my Son's Christening party here and have been very impressed by the standard of the venue, food and the staff. Many thanks to Harriett and Alana who worked tirelessly to accommodate. The afternoon tea is excellent. In fact the words "Afternoon Tea" don't do it justice. Throughly recommended.

I got married last sat and had our evening reception here . Mark the new manager went above and beyond. The restaurant looked stunning. The food was beautiful. The staff were lovely and so respectful. Mark even went out of his way to search for my sons lost dinosaur tail, and kept food aside for guests that had got lost on their way. He also helped unload and load all the preparations for the wedding ect. Guests were welcomed by staff with a drink and smiles. The tables that required moving for the dance floor were moved with out any one noticing. The scenery at the venue couldn't be more beautiful and perfect for the photographs. I had so many compliments on the day about the venue, and food. People that had not been before couldn't believe how beautiful it was. I couldn't have imagined celebrating on my wedding day any where else !
