Lakeside is a hidden gem. Lovely atmosphere and staff. Best carvery we've had, delicious desserts and is reasonably priced.
We used Lakeside for our wedding reception on 21/3/26. It is an absolutely amazing venue for a wedding, the team dress it up so well and the lake is a perfect backdrop for the wedding pictures. Marton and his team were amazing and super helpful throughout the entire process that took over 18 months. they were always on hand to respond to any queries and run regular wedding showcases & fairs where you could have catch ups, but also happy to do as and when you needed them. We had the ponderosa/BBQ buffet package which was very filling to the point that even though we had been a few months before for a carvery and were really looking forward to the carvery baps on the evening we were still too full from the BBQ we didnt have any. DJ was included as part of the package and there is plenty of space for dancing and any other games you want to have.nnThe best thing we can say about the ponderosa is that every guest said to us how much they loved the venue and how lovely the food and staff were on the day
We booked the Lakeside for our surprise wedding and it was amazing. The team really went above and beyond for everything! The room looked great, the food was lovely and the service from the team? Unreal.nIf you’re planning a wedding, or any event for that matter, I would 100% recommend!
We have just had our wedding here and all I can say is wow! It was the most beautiful day and every detail I asked for was done for us. Marton was amazing from the very first meeting to book our wedding. He and all his staff went above and beyond and nothing was too much. We had so many compliments on the venue and the food was just perfect, we opted for bbq and there was so much choice. We wanted an outside ceremony and it was just beautifully presented. I cannot thank Marton, Matty and all their staff enough for making all our dreams come true. We will be coming back for our Sunday carveries we they are amazing as well!
Mowat Court residents Christmas party was festive, well-organized, and lots of fun. Great food, excellent customer service, and a warm atmosphere made it a memorable way to end the year. Thank you to all the staff at Lakeside. See you next year!
