5 stars is just not enough for the exceptional service you receive from Wendy, Ashley and the team at Your Move Gravesend. I have been with the Gravesend office for the past 15 years and the service has been outstanding. They will always get a perfect 10 from me. Wendy has been my personal contact for the past 15 years and I have nothing but praise for her professionalism, attention to detail and going the extra mile in always finding me the right tenant. Wendy and her team take the time to get to know you, your property and always deliver. I now have my property fully managed by the Gravesend office and only wish I did it years ago. They take away all the pressures of managing a property yourself and I highly recommend anyone looking to rent out their home to go down the route of fully managed. For the slight extra in cost it is well worth it. You are kept informed of any problems should they arise and they also have a trustworthy list of suppliers who are very reasonably priced should any maintenance work be required. Thank you Your Move Gravesend for all your hard work and especially to Wendy who is "Simply The Best"

At the start, staff at this branch were very polite and helpful, i thought this was a good sign of things to come. However, once the buyer was found, there was a significant lack of communication and service. We were told our buyer was ready. We then had to put pressure on our purchase to ensure we got the sale going. It caused a huge amount of stress as the branch were calling to advise our buyers were chasing. Understandably we were concerned that they may pull out. So when we got the go ahead on our purchase and tried to exchange we found out the buyers were not ready. They had not supplied certain paperwork the bank required. Our buyers (first timers) had used the inbranch mortgage broker AND their solicitors. So the blame was placed on the buyers, when actually it should of been the broker or solicitor to ensure all was ready. Poor show to blame our buyers. Come completion day, we had delays and I phoned the branch to see what was going on. I spoke to the manager. She was very rude and told us to do our own chasing. So for around 4K we had to: - Show people round the house ourselves - including the people who eventually bought, - Received no customer support weeks after the buyer was found, - Had to do our own chasing up of the sale!!! Lastly, they released the keys to our house 2 hours BEFORE our solicitor had received funds. I wouldn’t recommend based on our experience. It’s a shame as it all started so well.

I gave one star only because there is no option for zero or even minus. By far this is one of the worst companies to deal with. I have placed an offer in September on chain free property and only just completed few days ago. I did not have a good feeling from day one when went to their office to provide copy of my passport for money laundering. There was a man who came to me and said “Hi, well done on securing the property I will introduce you to our broker to qualify you . They wanted to “qualify me” despite the fact that they have seen my AIP and proof of funds already. It transpired with the time that was the office manager Adrian. What a way to greet your customer?... The mortgage broker did not give me much confidence with his knowledge and said he needs few days before giving me “best rates”. Few days later, he called and little do you know gave me some rates , but certainly not the best. When I mentioned to the mortgage brokers what rates I am given already he said he can match those. Needless to say I thanked him for his time and continued dealing with other broker who gave me the best rates. Yourmove – Gravesend never bothered to chase up , the sale with me and very likely the Vendor. The only time we spoke after the sale was agreed was when I asked to see the property again because the tenant supposed to move out. That is in October, and on the day off appointment they forgot about me that I am waiting at the property. I had to call them to ask if someone is coming over or not. The lady Nicola ,was profoundly apologetic as her colleague fell ill unexpectedly so she had to fill in. A call wouldn't go a miss so I don’t hover around for 30 min, again I had to call to see what is happening why is no one coming. The property had tenants at the time when we viewed the property . The property was managed by Your move and when asked for the copy of gas certificate, they said they don't have it. The manager Adrian, decided to "reason with me", whilst talking to me in patronising manner by telling me that we are buying vacant property hence we don't need to see the Gas Safety. I re-iterated to Adrian that we need to see the old Gas Safety which their landlord should have , throughout the tenancy. It transpired that they can't show me one. On their check out report was showing that the CO2 alarm is not working , when questioned that again I was told that I am not buying with tenants , therefore I have no right to ask this question. After nearly 6 months of purchase , very rear contact with the company , initiated always by myself never by them they did have the cheek to ask me for my business. To top it up on the day of completion they did not have full set of keys , no fobs for the property . I understand it should be their Vendor responsibility, but how did they manage the property and moved in the tenant without full set of keys? Only using the code to the block. Very difficult for me to believe in that. Clearly I will never ever do business with them again and would advice you to stay away from this company too. I could write and write and tell you more about it … Still I hope you all got the idea by now. P.S for the Vendor’s and the Landlords , the team did not sale the property . The property sold itself . For me was all about the figures, hence why I stayed around for 6 months . If it was for the service of Yourmove I would have given up on the 1st week .
