The sites biggest benefit is it's proximity to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. There's a cinder track that was once a railway line that provides a beautiful walk to either of the aforementioned places, Whitby being approximately for miles away and Robin Hoods Baya little closer. If walking isn't your thing , there's a regular bus service only a few yards away. The site itself is very well maintained with an excellent shower block that was very clean. We had a choice of tent pitches over three areas, one of which had electric hook up. The other two areas are a short walk away from the shower block, but a portaloo was available for those quick toilet breaks in the middle of the night. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive.

Just spent the weekend here in a tent with electric hook up. Lovely, large, enclosed pitches, enough room for the car at the side. Can have a BBQ but no open fires. Water points were spaced at every other pitch. Took the dog. Had to be kept on the lead at all times, but there was a massive dog field to let him off and throw the ball. Staff are friendly & helpful. Showers are clean & water was hot. Overall it was a lovely weekend & definitely would go again.

Nice people who run the park can't do enough for you central for whitby Scarborough robin hood's bay etc

Loved this place. Very close to Whitby. Camping pitches are a good size and relatively flat. Toilet and shower facilities are clean with loads of hot water. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
