Story

Just outside Whitby, surrounded by 8 acres of garden and open fields lies Broomfields Farm, a Georgian farmhouse. Our six holiday cottages are attractive converted stone farm buildings. They are furnished and decorated to a high standard and there are many additional facilities which makes this an ideal place for adults, children and pets. We are only a short two minute drive from the town centre and at the back of Broomfields farm, lies an old railway line which is now used as a country footpath to Whitby. The facilities available to all cottages are a games room, complete with pool table, darts board and video library, a small playground for children, a BBQ area and freshly cut grass with football nets. Eggs are also available to buy from the main farmhouse from our own small flock of chickens. The cottages also have their own picnic tables as well as a picnic area near our duck and goose enclosure.
Each Cottage has a refrigerator, electric cooker, washer/dryer, microwave, colour TV with video recorder, Radio/CD player, iron and ironing board.



Each has oil fired central heating / hot water and no extra costs for electricity or heating.

Beds are made up on arrival and towels are supplied.

We can provide a cot and high-chair for each cottage, just ask us in advance - but see separate comments for 'Dove's Haven'. We have a baby-sitter available too.
