Lovely site, we turned up without booking and owner give us a pitch no problem at all, nice & friendly. Site is clean, tidy & very quiet on a night time, fantastic sleep! . . Toilet block with showers, running water, wash area, electricity everything you need and only 10 minute walk to Whitby town & attractions. Will definitely stay again
A beautiful cottage ,very well equipped and close to Whitby. Sadly it wasn't as clean as I would have liked. This property allows dogs and the living room carpet was covered in dog hair. Also the hot water system made a terrible noise when you turned off the taps. Shower curtain too short causing a large puddle in the bathroom. Thankfully there was a mop close at hand. We very much enjoyed our stay despite the hiccups.
A little further from the centre than we wanted and all up hill on the way back. 2 bed cottage open plan. Downstairs cold but mezzanine bedroom too hot at night.Rooms: 3/5

Farmhouse immaculately clean and warm, loads of hot water for all and a great location for walking and also getting down into town. The only downside is its dated, and decor wise is very tired and in need of a face lift. Parking is tight for 4 cars too.
Very nice little cottage. Normally stay in caravans, but this was a lovely change. Very clean, well equipped and presented. Small things like fresh flowers and a pint of milk in the fridge. Well located not too close but not too far from whitby centre. Backing on to the cinder track, and local walks. Only problem was a dipping centre of the mattress and a bit of a noise boiler. Would definitely stay here again.
Agree with all the negatives about this site. Pot washing area had no draining board or working taps, bin in ladies cold washroom was not emptied all weekend, none of the touring pitches had a nice view and 3 of the pitches looked like a 'late arrivals' area. We definitely felt ripped off at £25 a night. Lovely site for the statics and could be a nice touring site if a bit of money and care was put into it. Will opt for a slightly longer walk into Whitby next time.

Lovely stay we have here, lots of room for everyone and we'll kept. A nice distance from town again so walking in and out wasn't a problem. Lounge was massive and additional lounge a good size. Could certainly do with some larger tvs in my opinion.
Stayed for a few nights in June. The good point is you can walk into Whitby in ten mins. But £35 a night is a bit excessive, you would expect a luxury site with outstanding facilities, which this site definitely does not have. There is a block with shower and toilet for men and same for ladies which is old and outdated and dirty. There are two sinks outside for washing pots but you really wouldn't. No other facilities available. We were told by other visitors there that the owners seem to charge different people different prices. It's a £10 a night site.
