Maurice's class is exceptional. As an ex dancer and ballet teacher with a recurring knee injury, I was looking for a yoga class that would assist with my injuryrehabilitation, expand my mind and give me a new interest. In the 8 weeks that I've been attending my injury has significantly improved, I'm more calm and carefree and I'm now obsessed with yoga. Maurice is a fantastic teacher: he articulates each element of each pose with such precision. I really look forward to his class every week and I'm looking forward to attending more classes when I can.
I've been to many yoga classes and Maurice's is hands down the best - by a long way! I have a much greater understanding of yoga as a practice, my body and especially meditation than ever before, after only quite a short time of attending. Can't recommend Maurice's classes enough!
I would highly recommend Maurice's yoga classes - I have been attending for several years and started again recently. My core strength has improved dramatically in the past 6 weeks and I feel noticeably more toned and stronger as a result of attending. Maurice focuses on technique throughout his classes, meaning that you get the most out of each class and are always improving your own yoga practice. It's also great that there are several ability levels and locations to choose from.
I can highly recommend Yoga Inspiration classes, taught by Maurice. Maurice is a highly skilled, experienced teacher who encourages you to practice yoga, safely and with confidence. He has an ability to.push you further into yoga practice, and before you know it, you have been going regularly to his classes for 6+yrs. Thanks Maurice for all your encouragement and advice especially re workin' the legs !!
Been to plenty of classes in Glasgow, taught by other instructors, and none of which have been comparable to Maurice's. When I was new to yoga I felt quite nervous about it but Maurice soon put me at ease. He is a very experienced instructor, whom clearly has great knowledge of human anatomy and knows how to encourage individuals to push themselves safely. He is always very accommodating, getting to know his students and tailoring postures in response; eg. if people are coming to classes to resolve back pain from working at a desk all day me. Yoga Inspiration is totally brilliant!
These are great classes if you want to stretch out after slouching at a desk at work all day, or if you just want to escape a busy life for an hour or so. I have been attending Maurice's classes for a few years now and it doesn't seem to matter how stressed or achy I am beforehand, I've always emerged after a class feeling calmer and physically much better. Maurice is a great teacher, very knowledgeable about yoga and is able to pitch the classes at exactly the right level, depending on individuals' needs so that everyone can benefit. Somebody once said to me how lucky I was to have Iyengar yoga on my doorstep. I can only agree!
I am a student of Maurice’s . Maurice‘ s style of working with people in yoga is very even, skillful, and effective. He is very well liked and respected by everyone both personally and professionally. Maurice’s extensive knowledge base of yoga teaches each student in developing their practice with humor and patience along with a solid knowledge of the foundations of yoga. Maurice is a brilliant teacher and I always look forward to the class on a Tuesday night. 2019 has been a very difficult year for me but Maurice has been a great mentor, teacher and friend and has helped me so much and continues to do so. My yoga practise and teaching are improving because of the constant input, knowledge and advice I get from him and I'm so glad I have him as a teacher- thanks Maurice!
Maurice’s classes really helped me to recuperate and regain movement after a back injury. Maurice helps every person in the class to understand what they can safely do. You never feel that you should do more than your body allows, although Maurice will always help you move on when you are ready. Although my back will never return to how it was before the injury, I now have much more confidence in knowing what helps.
Maurice is a great yoga teacher. I'm a physiotherapist and I have been attending his classes for a few years and happily recommend him. He has a great quality and style to his teaching.
