I booked this venue for my sister’s hen party last weekend and it was absolutely fantastic! The place was immaculately clean, had everything we could’ve possible needed and the rooms are beautiful. Nicky was so helpful and answered any questions I had before the stay. Everyone who came commented on how amazing the place was and I think we’ll all be booking to stay again!
Absolutely BRILLIANT Couldn't be happier with the weekend we spent here, the venue is so well set up for hosting a big group. Every member of the group was so impressed with it when they arrived. The bar area, complete with Sky Sports TV, Pool Table, Dart Board, PS4, and full on bar, is the ultimate place for hosting your own pub for the weekend. Not only is the bar area great, but the rooms are super impressive, feel very new and clean and furnished really nicely. Plus you even have your own beer garden. Nikki was brilliant at communicating with me and was fantastic at answering all of my questions in the run up to our booking. Can't recommend this place enough!
Place beginning to look tired after large groups in and no cleaning staff you're expected to clean and clear the whole place yourself which is a killer by 10am on the morning after your wedding! Had ring nicky to get a locksmith late in the night as the door handle fell off, shower leaking in one room, yucky old smelly soap in some dispenser and we had to wipe surfaces as they were sticky. The good points though are.... The venue is perfect for large groups and really well equipped. Very private and easily accessible. Nicky is lovely to deal with and very helpful throughout the process. We really enjoyed out wedding day and 2 nights there. Would certainly recommend to others but with the warning about cleaning etc as you only pay for laundry nothing else.
Absolutely fantastic. Stayed for 2 nights, room was lovely, really clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and plentiful. My husband had the full English and said it was the best he had in a long time.... I am a chef, so that is a great compliment. Staff are really great and the landlady is very helpful and friendly. And last but not least the chefs certainly need a pat on the back, food is amazing, well done all at the ynysmeudwy Arms. We will certainly recommend you and hopefully be back for another visit, in the not to distant future.
Very disappointed this their approach to my booking. Booked well in advance, 7 months. Upon booking I was told I needed to pay additional £500 as there was an error on the page and was charged too little. Which I was okay to pay. I have booked loads of activities for 20 people for this weekend which are non-refundable. To my dismay, they have recently cancelled my booking as the weekend I booked was the "only" weekend they could get their windows changed my booking is 5 months away. They do not have any other booking either side of mine, and look free for most of the month I have booked. You would have thought they would have got them fitted on one of the many weekends they don't have any booking. Really poor from this company, and would err on the side of caution. I have had a weekend for 20 people ruined.
Lovely Sunday dinner! Lots of veg and the beef was really tasty. The gravy was beautiful. Very good value and not hurried or rushed to leave. Only reason not a 5, some of our party felt the plates could have been warmed before the food was brought out. Would highly recommend the place and will be back again.
The food was lovely and the staff great but. It was cold. Not one radiator on in this freezing weather!!. There was a big group of us who went for lunch. so I would have thought they would have put some heating on. It spoilt the day for me as my feet were like ice after sitting for an hour or two. Such a shame as prices were quite high but food was delicious. The puddings were really great
An amazing experience with the whole family for Sunday lunch! Food was first class exceeding all expectations with service to match. At £17.95 for three courses it is also very good value for money.
I'm not usually one to complain but my wife and I had an awful experience here. We booked a table for 1.30, and still hadn't had our Sunday lunch served by 2.30. There was a long gap between the meat and vegetables being served and everything was over cooked when the food finally arrived. The toilets were also utterly grim.
Visited this evening 23rd March. Lovely warm atmosphere. Ordered a Burger lasagne steak pie and surf and turf. Unfortunately the steak was not a good piece but all the other meals were amazing. I have scored them a 5 star because of the way they handled our complaint. Amazing attitude nothing was to much trouble. Thank you.... Good selection of pub classics, grills, veggie options. give this place a try you won't be disappointed!
