You may remember Knight’s from the time when the Mumbles Mile was still a madhouse; The George comes from the same stable but is a very different vibe, relaxed and spacious with elevated views of the bay. It is surely the best restaurant interior in Mumbles. We chose from the fish and vegan options within the tapas menu, everything was excellent, and promptly served. Highlights included the warm salad, whitebait and prawns. A delightful experience, next time we will sample the fish menu.
I’ve eaten at MK the George several times, the service and food is always outstanding. I’ve come over to leave a comment today after seeing on Walesonline the local authority had unfairly rated it a one star. I’m pretty sure half the celebrities in Mumbles wouldn’t go there if this rating was warranted
Wife and I visited here yesterday first time. Had a stunning 2 course meal. Excellent choice and value. Quality of food was very good. The members of staff who served us were excellent and always on hand. Will definitely be coming back and we travelled over 25 miles to get there. Thanks again.
Have not done a rating on food as we didn't get round to doing it but we had 5 * treatment from the wonderful staff Evie and Dom. You deserve medals from Ga. Thank you so much for making everything perfect. Perfect hosts xxService: 5/5
Fabulous meal & evening again at MK's the food is really delicious. The position location & decor also adds to the experience. There is a lot of fish options and a few veggie choices as well as tapas. We eat upstairs in the restaurant however there is tables downstairs for anyone who is not able to walk upstairs as there is no lift. Would definately recommend this restaurant in Mumbles for any occasion. There is parking available outside on tge road or in the carpark opposite.

Wow tonight was our 1st visit to MK @ The George. And we certainly weren't disappointed. The food was outstanding along with the service. I wish I could give more than 5 stars will definitely be recommending to everyone xx

The restaurant is really nicely laid out, open and airy. My friends and I opted for the lunch menu, and all of our meals were delicious. Risotto, Mackrell pate, sword fish....and the cheesecake was perfect to finish off the meal!! The service was excellent too. I'll definitely be going back and would recommend it.
Had mushroom topped with leek and welsh rarebit to start. Absolutely stunning and nice and hot. For main had hake with asparagus, king prawn and cheese sauce which was delicious and cooked to perfection. All the side vegetables were beautiful too. Cannot fault any of it. Nicest meal I've had out in years!! Highly recommended and definitely go again
