Story

Welcome to The Ranch Steak House & Grill

The Ranch steak house is based in the heart of Pontardawe specialising in prime dry aged steaks, delicious starters with a fusion influence and some mouth watering classic dishes..

Owner's Mohammed Pasha & Keri Pritchard decided to take on Mohammed's family site and by specialising in well sourced and well hung prime beef and hope to create a destination restaurant.

The grill house features a western and eastern grill which offers prime British steaks to an authentic style Indian marinated steak. With a menu boasting the very best of traditional fayer, and some international favorites, our dishes are homemade in our kitchen, and we also offer fish and vegetarian options as well as a children's menu.

We only source the most tender beef from finest grass-fed cattle, So come along to our place and relax with some fantastic food..

We celebrated our friends birthday at one of theire favourite restaurants. After changing my mind several times from the very extensive menu I opted for the beef rib & steak combo. Absolutely fantastic, beautiful food & can't wait to return

Use to be very good but unfortunately this has gone down hill. A steakhouse that struggles to serve proper steaks and is unfortunately understaffed to give a good dining experience
Great quality meat as well as value for moneyal. The tomahawk steak was cooked just the way I like it I have been here a few times and it never disappoints.

We ordered food from here back in April and it was amazing, couldn't fault it at all. So this is why tonight we thought we would order from here again, to say disappointed would be an understatement, it was really late being delivered, when the food arrived it was cold, my mother's serloin steak was really tough, one of my chicken wings from my mixed grill was bloody and my wife's burger was so greasy and covered in a creamy chive sauce which was not advertised. I don't know what has happened from April, but I will never order or go to this place for food ever again.
We ordered from here tonight, the food was lovely and considering we live a fair distance away the delivery time was good too. We were missing 2 portions of chips, and I asked for no onions or salad on my steak and it was over onions. Simple request not followed.
I had a Sunday dinner delivered from this place. The reviews were amazing the dinner looked fantastic. I opened the trays heated them up in the oven, warmed the gravy up. However it was a real disappointment .. the carrots were not cooked, the cabbage was raw, parsnips were cooked on the outside and hard in the middle. Meat was lovely so was the roasties. The gravy tasted like veg water. We were really looking forward to the dinner we had to throw it out! I paid over £30, I've spoken to someone but they refused to give my money back and refused to talk to me, the restaurant have blocked me sending messages to them via messenger! I've tried dealing with it in a fair manner. Has any one else had Sunday dinner from this place? As I wouldn't recommend it unless you want raw veg!! I know it's a steakhouse and probably the steaks are up to scratch, I wouldn't recommend you making Sunday dinners.
The food we had was lovely, but we followed a large party in, and unfortunately that meant our food was delayed. When we ordered we were told there would be a wait, but it wouldn't be too long. An hour and twenty minutes later our starters arrived! Had we been walk-ins I could understand a bit more, but they knew we were coming, and presumably the big party so should have been able to cope better. As I say, good food
Not the best experience overall. Positives Staff very friendly Reasonably priced Meat quality My partners chicken was "awesome" Negatives Took over 45 minutes to get menu party of 2 Took 1 hour for starters Misread our booking time by an hour. Took 1.5 hours for mains Steak came rare/blue when asked for medium rare Overview- drive and extra 10 mins and pay a touch more for a M&C for a better steak and premium service. 3 Star is probably a bit lenient but the girl with curly blonde hair was great once took over our service.
