Now, a Sunday roast is my thing. It's the  most fussiest thing I care about. In fact I would say it would be my last ever go to meal so it has to be bang on. We tried the Aubrey for the first time today not knowing what to expect, just went on pure recommendation.nnWe were greeted at the door with friendly staff who sat us at our table and offered drinks. The waitress then went on to explain that we would be called ready to get our food if you can't tell already it was carvery. Not long after we were called to go get our food. I must say the selection was superb, the servers behind the counter again very friendly and portions were great!!!nnThe food tasted really really good!!!! The gravy had bags of flavour and as much as you like.nnWe decided to go for a dessert too, a cheeky brownie with ice-cream which also tasted great. We finished up, paid the bill when my daughter decided to go to the toilet, long story short, she was taking ages, one of the staff members could see I had been waiting outside for a while so offered to see if she was okay.nnIn a nutshell we will 100% be back, food was amazing and the staff so helpful and friendly.nnHighly recommended!!!

A lively pub that always seems busy. It serves great food and isn't too pricey. We had the 10oz rump steak and chicken and leak pie. The steak came with the best onion rings I've ever had, seems a little thing but he batter was amazing. The chips were lovely and the steak was cooked perfectly. The chicken pie was a puff pastry lid on a dish and a lovely sauce and a good sized filling.  Cocktails were 2 for 1 which on a Saturday night is pretty good. We didn't have dessert but other people's looked good. All in all a great night for a reasonable price. We will definitely be back.

We've recently been here as a party of 6 friends, we all had really really good food with big portions.nnI had the curry, which was really nice but could have a bit more flavour to it. The service was great, and it was really busy.nnI must mention the apple pie, omg, have it. So so good. I'd go back just for that.nnSome of us were able to take food home too, which is a bonus!nnLovely staff and location.

Booked for new years day for 7 in our family. All different tastes and 2 vegetarians.  None of us had been before. Absolutely outstanding food! Great varied choice for all and Huge portions and all very very fresh. Such good value for money and we even came away with leftovers. Will be a family regular now. Thank you to the lovely group of serving team.

Me my partner and a few family members came here for food today, the portions were huge and everything was cooked fresh and you could tell it was home made!nnEverything came out extremely quick and boiling hot!nnThe staff were extremely polite and friendly and provided extremely good service.
