Not local to the area so first time visiting the Yew Tree. This is one of those places you find that you never forget. The carvery was exceptional and everything was cooked perfectly. Doggy carvery was £1.50 which is an absolute steal. It consisted of different meats cut up and veg of your choice. Our desserts were delicious and well presented. Looking forward to returning and trying different ones on the menu. This was topped with great service which was welcoming and warm. Very glad we decided on the Yew Tree for lunch.
Absolutely gorgeous carvery here on Sundays! The just-roasted meats are accompanied by a fantastic selection of vegetables, trimmings and sauces, and the staff are super-friendly and attentive. Even more excitingly for my dog, they do a Doggy Carvery here! She got her own bowl of meat trimmings and vegetables and lots of petting. She's now got a firm favourite place for Sunday Lunch!
Absolutely amazing couldn't fault any of it. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming and helped me when I had my hands full with my puppy. The food was reasonably priced and they have a decently sized car park. Best part was the food - carvery was very tasty and they even did a "doggy carvery" for which they provide a bowl so 10/10 from me and my pup!
Popped in for bite to eat on evening . Reasonable prices and good burger chips and chicken gougons and chips Friendly staff . Cosy inside and plenty seating and tables outside .
The Doggo Carvery pic below caught our attention and decided to the whole clan for Sunday lunch. Staff were friendly, generous portions. Will book again soon.
Myself and family from further North were ther for a a sad family occassion. The place was clean, cheerfull, and welcoming. Refreshments grand. Lovelly area. Well worth a visit.Food: 5/5
Best place in Otley for Sunday lunch, vaule for money. The meal was superb couldn't vault it, flavour profile all cooked to perfection.Great staff
Great place to have a few pints! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. You can even park your motorhome for a night and use all services grey, black and water: all free.
Great value carvery. A choice of 4 meats or have more than 1. Do doggy dinners for £2 with the proceeds going to the Yorkshire Dog Trust - an excellent idea. Very dog friendly. Staff were greatFood: 5/5
The food was really good, I must say, and they did a good job of making sure there was enough food to cover everyone. The rating is because of the execution. I'd eat here again as a smaller party. We were a large group and I called ahead to check if that would be ok and was reassured that they could cater for big groups. I called on behalf of someone in our party and was told twice that the football would be on in the tap room, it wasn't and we were told that they tried to call back but didn't have a number despite having my booking? Then we arrived and the table was set for about half the number of people so we had to reshuffle the adjacent tables and collect our own chairs. The staff were nice and tried to be helpful but it seemed as though something got lost in communication during the booking process and/or set up which made for a somewhat stressful arrival with 4 hungry children and a new born also information I gave on booking.
