First time visiting the pub an let me start by saying this I’ve spent many years in this industry an the chef is wasted in this place.. the food was spot on first class and plenty of it. The service however has plenty off room for improvement I asked for a drink that seemed to of never been heard off once we had seated ourselves at our table we had to guess was ours we was greeted with a sticky table food on the floor an dirty cutlery. The waiting staff an barmaids seem to be running round doing a lot but leave you sat waiting for condiments that you have to ask for 3 times, for you to then get told they forgot about you. There was no tissues in either of the toilets aswell. If you look past all of this an don’t mind rude staff that don’t have a clue.. I would visit the place again if only to offer the chef a position in a kitchen that I feel he’s worthy off.
Good selection of beers, staff were friendly and pub had a great atmosphere
Absolutely Beautiful. Welcoming customer service fantastic, value for money excellent. Food Fantastic Burgers to Die for and filling. Fish and chips Massive portion. Will definitely be visiting again. That Good I forgot to pay, did return to make payment.... Parrot loved the Fish.
If you like vertical drinking establishments, you'll give more stars than me!! It's a student's pub, TVs on every wall, loud music...&real ale !! Looks like it's had a recent makeover post pandemic, it's on The Otley Run, students love it, me..not so much
The place was fine. I'm definitely not the clientele they're aiming to attract. I thought it had a smell of urinal cakes. Not the most welcoming smell. Not the most varied selection of beer.
Great pub and brilliant food, I will be back to visit very soon
*PART OF THE OTLEY RUN* Really loved this pub, only problem was it took about half an hour to get a drink! Wouldn’t recommend going on Saturday. Spacious, lots of seats, and I believe a pool table!
Solid pub, carnage on a Saturday with the students and the Otley run! Definitely a lot of fun. Decent beers on tap and a good amount of seating. Can't comment on the food but I'd go back if I'm in the area.
Good beer, great people and a top rate rock band were playing. Stykleback
Ok. I've got no choice but to upgrade my review from 4 stars to 5 stars. Love the Friday night music. Absolutely excellent.
