Great staff, good music
Went here on a cold and wet autumn day recently and felt as happy and warm as one can be after a lovely steak and ale pie meal and a good cup of coffee. The place was as traditional English as I imagine pubs should be, but still clean and newly refurbished. The new management and staff are very friendly. Thanks Andrew
Friendly pub under new management. Well-kept beers and very good for meals. Tasty trio of sausages, mash, onion gravy and three veg for under £10. Home-made steak pies, lasagne etc also available.
Loved it. The place looked lovely and felt cosey. Hope it builds up custom. We will definitely be back and tell our friends to go too.
Low key, friendly place... Just so happened the Slovenian Cycle team were in.. Good night all round
