I cannot praise this lovely station enough. It is one of 2 local stations to us and the difference is immense. A special mention needs to go to Jonathan in the ticket office. What a wonderful fellow he is. Warm, kind and just goes that extra mile to make sure he has done whatever is needed to solve your problem or query. A second full marks goes to the coffee shop. It is kitted out in old fashioned style that takes you back to 'Brief Encounter. Beautiful tiles...thoughtfully and beautifully decorated for Christmas and lovely, really lovely cheerful staff ( no extra cost for extra shots in coffees!). I have to say, I have never come across a station like it. Thank you to all who make it lovely. I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates it. Again Jonathan deserves an extra mention. Full marks .

If you're going to include a bus transfer as part of my rail journey, and then not include the cost in the price of my ticket, the very least you could do is make sure the bus stop is clearly signposted and maintained.

So far so good. Food available from cafe. Small cafe but nice offering hot and cold food tea and coffee. I think WiFi is available but I couldn't get it to work. Car park large.
