Very nice food. Good value for money. Lovely wood fire.(However..chimney needs sweeping..smoke filing the lounge)..Look forward to a return visit.

Cracking little country style boozer with good food and ales. Reasonably priced and friendly crowd,  lots of locals mixed with visitors.  OK with kids, dogs etc and small kids play area outside too.

Always a warm and pleasant atmosphere, not always the best food however, can be got and miss. Well worth a visit if you don't eat though 😉👍

Always a brilliant meal with a good couple of guest ales at the bar. Friendly staff and lots of room for large family groups.
