We went for afternoon tea and it was beautiful. Lots of finger sandwiches, mini cream cakes, jam n cream scones and lashings of tea. As this is a pub we were pleasantly surprised that the table was set with crisp white tablecloths. It was a very pleasant experience and we shall return to sample the meals.

The Sunday Carvery is the best for miles around and extremely good value for money. Combine that with well kept beer and a nice traditional pub surrounding and you have the perfect recipe for Sunday afternoons. We go at least one Sunday every month and have never been disappointed.

Lovely place. Food was amazing, staff are very friendly and the room were spotless. Recommended this place to everyone, we will definitely be making a return visit

Great pub with good atmosphere, pleasant staff. Food was excellent. Accomodation in chalet type bedrooms was a little stark with thin inside walls but, hey, you don't expect Ritz facilities at the price we paid. All in all a good experience and would certainly go again.

Had a fantastic couple of nights here on a woucher. £49 for two nights bed and breakfast for me and my wife, your not expecting much lets be honest, but this place was amazing. Lovely little village too. Thanks for a great break x
