After falling on this pub by accident. Called in for a quick pint. What a great time. Real unspoilt building inside and out. Local folk friendly. And amazing atmosphere . Open fire's in loads of small rooms. Real gas lights on the walls. The beers here are great. And would recommend anyone to visit this gem of a public house.

What an amazing place. It is like going back in time!! Gas lighting giving it a real atmosphere. Friendly staff and a welcoming feel means it won't be long until we go back again.

Very quaint, not to everyones taste but I found it fascinating. Took me back to when I was a child with coal fired ovens and open fire cooking on display all this along with great beer. Staff busy but pleasent and not a lot of waiting to be served. Give it a try if you want a great pint and somewhere unusual to visit, can't see you will be disappointed.

You don't get more character than at Nellie's! Just like stepping back into the 1800's...dark, gas-lit and atmospheric. Great range of Sam Smith's beers, a friendly welcome and a real buzz about the place.

Noticed Sunday lunch available on Easter Sunday. Pub needs to just keep selling good beer because the food was awful. Brought the problem to the attention of one member of staff who said, oh I am sorry and walked off
