Went here as they have a function room which we want for our wedding in September. Old fashioned.looking pub which we loved. Function room was brilliant with its own bar. Beer was fantastic. The Landlord was a great guy, really chatty to all customers. Would highly recommend a visit to this gem of a.pub in the heart of the city centre 😊😊

Like most expensive pubs, lacking the customers so no atmosphere. On the plus side, staff friendly, clean & warm

Always worth a visit and would be a regular if I lived near enough. Bar staff have always been nice and the selection of real ale and cider is good. I am normally alone but plenty to listen too or join in with. All types of people there and I never feel unwelcome. If you want to have a few drinks around the pubs in Hul's old ton then make sure the George Hotel is on the route.
