Visiting from out of the area and stumbled across Yates. Regardless of which part of the country I’ve found myself in, I’ve always found a decent meal in a Yates. I had a lovely full English, hot, tasty and great value for similar in the area. Great service by Wade on the bar and delicious food created by chef Claire. We will definitely be visiting again.
This was a fantastic pub for drinking, located in a top notch location right in Liverpool city centre! The sports bar theme has fancy lights and the usual decorations, counter is well-presented too. I really appreciated the leather seating and grabbed a Coors, using a clean round table!Service: 5/5
Meal was poor they gave you your food then made us wait 10mins before telling us we had to get our own cutlery and condiments and was dead as a dodo and played nfl on all the screensFood: 2/5
All round atmosphere is lovely, nice & friendly staff, but me and my boyfriend decided to enjoy our pints outside in the beer garden, next minute there’s a rat crawling underneath our feet, absolutely horrified! Shame as we were thinking about coning back for food the next day, think we’ll give it a miss. The pub itself is 4/5 stars but the rat situation completely changed our view on this place.
Came in today for a quick bite to eat and gotta say the food was lovely and amazing service by Chloe! She is a lovely polite young lady who gave amazing customer service, nothing was too much trouble for her, thank you Chloe will definitely return Food: 5/5
Stopped in for a bite of food and the food arrived quite quickly after ordering which to me is always an alarm bell Secondly we both orders nachos to the table and when I say they were bad they have to be the WORST nachos I've ever had ! Like they have must of used the cheapest ingredients ever and were left uneaten Third when i asked the waitress on the floor could i possible get a fresh set as the salsa was so Sweet it was almost like JAM all i got told was 'wells that's just our salsa' and 'i like it' then she just turned on her heels and walked away what sort of service it that
First visit to Yates and Liverpool. Clare was really helpful and the drinks and food were served quickly and efficiently. Really good first visit, will definitely return. Always good to have friendly staff on first encounter. Well done ClareFood: 5/5
Came in for breakfast after a suit fitting for a wedding so quite a large group. Ordered food on the app to be told quite rudely at the bar after getting a drink they don't bring anything upstairs. Quite embarrassing situation for everyone as we had to split up the large group we had onto three tables downstairs then change all the orders to new tables. Breakfast turned up dry as if it had been sat under the halogen lamp for a long time.
Had lovely evening meal lasagna and burger. Great deal burger comes with free drink. Quick service and food hot.Food: 5/5
My wife and I have made several visits to this bar,and find the staff are welcoming and friendly,we have been served by a young lady called Chloe on quiet a few occasions,she was so helpful and has a fantastic knowledge of the drinks and food available,we only wanted a few drinks and nothing was too much trouble for her,we will visit again soon and hopefully be served once again by the wonderful Chloe.
