I've been here a few times - in the evening on weekends and just recently for a quick lunch special. The food always tastes great and the dishes more authentic than the chain restaurants. Better still, the price for the lunch specials is great value.

Had a nice meal here. Food came quickly and prepared well. The portions of the sushi where good for the price and the quality was good I did doc a star as the start we ordered for £3 only had 1 chicken skewers where the photo showed 3. However don't let this put you off the sushi was excellent and best I've had in Cardiff.

I have given 4 stars as feel that most places always have room for improvement - ....... For example I would have given a full 5 stars if they had "Taster Platter" on the menu. Maybe one (or two) of each different type of Sushi - a shared taster platter would add variety to the meal and suit everyone's taste ... ... However what a great first impression at this restaurant - the food was extremely tasty and the service was excellent - Staff friendly and welcoming - If having dessert I recommend the Matcha (Green Tea,) Raspberry Cake with Ice Cream - delicious - extremely large portion to boot - We will go again and do recommend this restaurant

Brilliant restaurant with friendly staff and really good food. The menu here isn’t just for fish lovers and doesn’t just mimic Wagamama’s either. In fact I’d say the food is better, more original and certainly comes fresh and tasty to your table. Very nice atmosphere and great location in The Bay too.
