We have used the Golden Well for several years now and always have a great time. Alan and his team are fabulous hosts, super attentive and want to embassies you have a great time. We generally visit as a group of 8 or 10 of us and have set menu to share, they're is always plenty to go round and the price is very reasonable. I can highly recommend this restaurant / take away.
Lovely restaurant, clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated, solid tables and comfortable chairs.nFood was cooked to perfection and portion sizes were good. They even have freshly made desserts. Staff are friendly and attentive, really made our night. Restaurant is child friendly, has wheel chair accessible. Toilets were spotless. Well stocked bar and drinks were properly cold. Parking available. Allergy advice available. Highly recommend.

The food is good, service is fantastic. Only down side is the food doesn’t seem to be cooked fresh when you order as it’s ready too quickly. Also a bit expensive.
The restaurant was too expensive, cold, and not cosy at all.nThe waiting staff were polite and smiling, but that was the only good thing.nThe menu had repeating pages which was confusing.nThe prices do not correspond to the quality and quantity of the food. All the dishes arrived unexpectedly quickly, as if they had been reheated in a microwave oven. The chow mein noodles were dry, and the chicken tasted smoky. The egg fried rice was not hot at all, had almost no eggs and vegetables, and was overcooked and dry.
