Great warm & welcoming gastro pub who's prices aren't cheap, but food is excellent quality. Has a larger dining room in back area, with a dog friendly more bar focused area at the front. The same high quality main menu can be had either area. It also has a limited number of bench tables outside on the street side which are popular in nice weather.

Delicious food and really tasty deserts. Pilot chocolate ball was amazing! Slightly smaller portions but on the plus side that did leave room for desert :-)

Friendly international Staff ! (François Anton, Marta, Michelle, Alba & Co.) very good food, probably the pub in Penarth where women feel most welcome; excellent choice of real ales , I'm a regular simply because it's the best pub in the town. Great ambiance , lovely mixed clientele ! Try it ! Cheers !

If you are in the Barrage area in Cardiff Bay, it's definitely worth a walk up the hill towards Penarth. This is a lovely pub, not the cheapest in the town, but with top notch food and drink and a lovely atmosphere it's worth every penny!

Enjoyed a pub lunch with a friend. The cod and chips was the nicest I can remember having anywhere. Lovely staff too and a mellow atmosphere. Thank you!
