We bring to the Italian Way over 25 years knowledge and know-how gained in the catering industry, which we believe will allow us to provide you with the dining experience we think you deserve.

The Italian Way focuses on bringing out the best elements of what is one of the best gastronomic regions of the world. Our menu emphasises the use of simple fresh ingredients, skilfully combined to bring out the best of a wide range of traditional dishes.

I have only good things to say about Lena, Giuseppe and Alfonso who together run The Italian Way restaurant. They've been friendly and welcoming from the start and they cook the most delicious Italian food. They are more than happy to tweak your meal if you have dietary requirements or different personal tastes. Every few weeks my family and I will come for the lunchtime special deal. For special occasions our No.1 choice for an evening meal will be here. Both times of the day the restaurant has a nice atmosphere with Italian music playing in the background and the same good quality food and service. Onto the boring bits for those who haven't eaten here! The kitchen sits at the back (don't worry it's not noisy) which is viewable and is always clean and organised. The dining area is clean and welcoming. The toilets are also clean and has never ran out of loo paper, soap or paper towels whenever I've been in there. To round off, it's been my favourite Italian since it opened and I always look forward to eating there.

Over the years, many businesses in Canton have come & gone, but The Italian Way has stould firm, & still remains a very popular restaurant today. My family have been eating here for over 2 decades, & they never disappoint. Service is always excellent here, & the food is delicious. Probably one of the best in Cardiff.

Good honest food for the money. Bring your own wine. Never had a bad meal, been going for years. Privately ownd. Perfect before the football or with the Mrs.
