Always seems to be out of order/broken and taped up equipment. Smells unpleasant in the main gym. The music is awful and you just have no choice but to listen to it. Entrance is sometime quite annoying when you have to try several time to get through a faulty fingerprint scanner system. They have leaflets given out and sometimes you have to walk swiftly and avoid eye contact to get out without them hounding you about referring your friends. Most annoying is that their payments are handled by 'Harlands' a poor customer care here, and when you try to leave they threaten you with £25 fines. Not worth it.

A well set out gym with plenty of space and equipment. The problem is that the maintenance of the equipment is exceptionally poor! There are six cable machines in the main gym, and not a single rope attachment that is in safe working condition. Even the floor stand for hanging cable equipment has most of its hooks missing! Only 1 of the 3 entrance barriers work! The roof leaks in various places which is remedied by dotting rubbish bins around the gym to catch the water when it rains. Which in all, is a shame because it had lots of potential when it first opened last year. What's worse is that even after mentioning the problems to employees for a fair few months, nothing is done.

Extremely poor. Massive issue with membership from day 1. Didn't show any interest in resolving the matter. Rude, uninterested staff and management. Obviously this is set up to get rich quick and sod the customers. I wouldn't use this place if they paid me.

Xercise 4 less rochford is full of friendly motivated staff, is good value for money and the gym is always clean and well equipped. I have enjoyed some of the classes on offer and I loved them and will be signing up for more

Good value gym could do with a steam room or sauna.
