This is now on the market. Such a shame, it was a great cafe.nnStopped for breakfast a few weeks ago.nThe portion wasn't huge but neither was the price, and to be honest was about the right amount of food so we weren't stuffed all morning!nnHad the bigger breakfast today.nStill excellent price and still wasn't too full. Bacon is fantastic.
Stayed here for 2 nights with 2 others over the weekend. We stayed in the Mill room which was upstairs. From the point of booking the hosts, Paola and Jonathan, were very helpful and welcoming. The room itself had plenty of space and was nice and cool during the heatwave which we are experiencing. Beds were also very comfortable. We found the hosts great and they were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was lovely, and we also tried some of the cakes on sale which were sublime. Would definitely recommend visiting Wye Knot Stop for food and for an over night stay. Location was also good, with most places of interest not too far away.
We saw this place as we passed by and decided to stop for a coffee. Took a nice table under a tree in the shade outside the front. We both had coffee and decided lunch would be in order too. Food was very nice as was the service and despite being at the corner of a fairly busy junction the local scenery wasn't at all bad. Enjoyed our visit here and would return if ever we were in the area. Highly recommend for lunch break! We did hear the evening food here is equally nice!
Been a few times lately during the weekends at lunch time as it was recommended by my vegan friend. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, the food is very fresh and perfect portion sizes. A small menu but due to this there is very little waiting and each dish is packed full of fresh ingredients. Lots of local produce to buy inside from honey to coffee, seating outside and in. Good range of cakes and hot drinks to suit meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans.
Stopped off here on a long road trip.nDelighted with service & food. Lovely staff and really delicious burger. Even the toilets were clean! And they had a cute little gift shop inside. Would definitely go out of our way to stop here again. Thanks!
